Allianz Arena is easy to visit and they serve beer and food on non match days too.

I have been several times over the years. If it's beer you are after then the Augustiner Bier Keller, not far from the Hauptbahnhof is a must. Even though very touristy then the Hofbräuhaus.

For other attractions there is Dachau, The Bavaria film studios, The Deutsche Museum and the Allianz Arena. If interested in the National Socialist era then there are walking tours and the like. All attractions are conveniently reached by walking, train, bus or tram.

There is also a Munich City travel ticket which can be purchased, do this at the airport and before you descend the escalator to the train station.

This place was worth a visit for late night clubs and bars. Kultfabrik, lots of different bars all in one area, you almost stumble into a new one by accident. Gets going around midnight. something for everyone as all are very different.

Re: Munich
Fuck off the Hoffbrauhaus unless you like drinking with Japanese selfie taking tourists and head to one of the Augustina halls. Much better beer and surroundings. There will be a fair few beer gardens open at this time of year too.

Went there for the Oktoberfest a few years ago, spent most of our time at the festival but the Hoffbrauhaus in the centre is worth a visit for a few steins and a plate of traditional Bavarian food
